Franciscan. Gabrielite. Servant Leader.

SGF's Congratulatory Message

Dear Friar Martin, please accept our heartiest congratulations as we celebrate the precious gift you have given to your parish and the Catholic community in Singapore – dedicating a quarter of a century to the priesthood.

The Franciscan priests are a unique order, not just in Singapore but globally. We feel blessed that you have helped keep the tradition alive over the past 25 years. The Lord guided you to this path all these years ago and we are touched to learn you continue to feel empowered with a sense of direction to unite people with love and lead them on the path to serve God in their own unique ways.

Your story is one which we hope to use to inspire the students and staff in our seven Montfort Gabrielite Education Institutions. We are touched by your humility and dedication to serving the Lord. We pray that God imbues you with the strength to continue your journey for another quarter of a century, and beyond.

O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.

Father Martin Low's Message

As I prayerfully celebrate my 25th Anniversary, my heart is filled with gratitude for the many people who have graced my life through priestly ministry. My parents are indeed the ones who first formed me in faith and love, thus preparing me for the much larger family that would become mine by means of Holy Orders.

I am grateful that God has given me the grace of a happy disposition in life coupled with a sense of direction and a special charism and personal power that draw people together in unity and solidarity in my ministry as a Franciscan priest.

In spite of my weaknesses and my unworthiness, God still loves me, protects me and guides me to be his servant in my simple capacity. I am happy and thankful to God for giving me this vocation to serve him and his people for 25 years in my priesthood.
