Our students live in a rapidly changing world. This calls for schools to better prepare their students with knowledge, skills and values to meet the challenges ahead. Our family of six schools under St Gabriel’s Foundation (SGF) will strengthen its Montfortian Education Charter and combine their resources to develop our students as future servant-leaders. The community’s support has always played a key role in supporting our students. This year, SGF is embarking on a Virtual Flag Day to help fund its programmes and operations. The SGF appeals to your generosity to make a donation of any amount. Donation of $10 and above will be eligible for 250% of tax deduction.
This Charity Movie will not just support the St Gabriel’s Foundation, but Boys’ Town Sanctuary Care as well! Sanctuary Care is a community respite care service by Boys’ Town to safeguard the welfare of vulnerable children. We provide temporary care and shelter to infants and young children who require out-of-home care within a family-based environment. These children come from families who are experiencing difficulties and are unable to care for them for a short period of time.
About 600 educators from the seven SGF institutions and invited guests attended the 3rd MES based on the theme “Living Our Charter, Transforming Lives” held at Montfort Secondary School. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of them for contributing their knowledge and ideas to make the eight dimensions of the Montfortian Education Charter more relevant and impactful.
Started in 2018, the annual three-day residential Montfortian Adventure Retreat for Youth-In-Action (MAR-YIA) was held from 26 to 28 June 2019 at Assumption Pathway School. 36 students from the schools under the St Gabriel’s Foundation attended the retreat based on the theme “Many Parts, One Body”.
It was held at National University of Singapore, UCC Hall (NUS-UCC) on the 8th of June, 2019. We had a fantastic turnout and our performers put up an incredible performance.
We appeal to your generosity, as a stakeholder of the SGF institutions, to help us reach our goal of raising $200,000 through this concert.
